Green Chili Quiche
GRANNY SAYS: Here is
a secret I had never actually made quiche until my friend Maxine contributed this recipe! If I'd known
how easy this was, (and how good) I'd have been serving it for
years!
| One 10-inch pie shell |
1-1/2 cups grated jack cheese |
| 1 cup grated sharp Cheddar |
1/3 cup diced green chili peppers |
| 1 cup heavy cream |
3 eggs, beaten |
| 1/4 tsp. salt |
1/4 tsp. cumin |
- Bake the pie shell.
- Line shell with cheeses, spread chilies over cheese.
- Stir together cream, eggs, and seasonings and pour over chilies
and cheese in pie shell.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes until done in the center and
very lightly browned.
