Strawberry Cheesecake
GRANNY SAYS: Cheese Cake
is the favorite among all these faves, so we saved the best of all to finish off our dessert book! This is really
something special. Try it. You'll never be satisfied with store-bought
cheesecake again!
| 4 8-oz pkg. cream cheese |
1-3/4 cup sugar |
| 3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice |
3 tsp. vanilla extract |
| 3 tbsp. flour |
5 large eggs |
| Pinch of salt |
2 cups sour cream |
| 3 tbsp. (additional) sugar |
2 lb.. fresh strawberries |
| Baked graham cracker crust |

- Whip together until smooth: cheese (at room temperature), sugar,
lemon juice, and 2-1/2 tsp. of vanilla.
- Add the flour, salt, and eggs and beat until blended.
- Pour the mixture into the crust and bake at 350 degrees for
about 55 minutes until center is set.
- Beat the sour cream with 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 3 tbsp. sugar.
- Spoon over cake and bake about 5 minutes.
- Cool, cover the entire cake with strawberries, and serve to
rave reviews!
