The Census Bureau says US population hit 292 Million as we rang in the New Year for 2004. for a rise of 2,816,586 or 1.0 percent above New Year's Day 2003.
The United States is now registering about one birth every 8 seconds and one death every 13 seconds. Meanwhile, net international migration is adding one person every 25 seconds. The result is an increase in the total population of one person every 12 seconds. Feeling crowded, anyone?
